These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Red Wine Village website (the "Site"). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or use the Site. If you have any questions on the Terms and Conditions, please contact us at Enquiry@RedWineVillage.com.

Applied to all Pre-Ordering wine orders on our site.

1. The “Order form” submitted by customer cannot be cancelled or changed unless the selected item stock was sold out.
2. Customer will be notified by phone or email after we confirmed receipt of your order form.  Otherwise, customer is suggested to call our enquiry hotline for verification in the second working day after the order form was being sent or faxed to us.
3. Customer orders will be proceed subsequently. We will notify the customer by phone or email once the order has been successfully ordered with our supplier.  Any cancellation or changes will not be accepted.
4. Customer may choose to settle their payment in several ways such as pay by credit card in our retail stores, deposit by cheque or cash to our company bank account.  However, full payment according to the invoice must be made with the deposit slip faxed to us within 3 days after we confirmed your order, otherwise the order will be considered a non-completion order.  Orders cannot be reserved or guaranteed prior to full payment settled.
5. All amounts being paid are non-refundable.
6. An official invoice will be issued to the confirmed order.
7. Customer will be contacted for self-pick up or delivery arrangement upon the wines being arrived and tallied in our warehouse.
8. Customer is obligate to schedule for pick up or delivery within 14 days upon our arrival notification.  We reserve the right to charge the customer for storage fee subsequent to the aforesaid adequate period.

10. If for whatever reason, the customer constantly happens to make non-completion orders, we reserve the right to terminate his account and/or refuse any future ordering with us.
11. In case of disputes, the decision of Red Wine Village shall be final and conclusive.

Supplementary Regulations

Ordering

Orders may be placed by clicking the 'confirm order' button. In doing this you are making an offer to buy from us within our terms. We will respond you with an email or call, to follow with our proper order form which will request your fill in and sign by return.

Payment

Contract

At the point at which your payment is received by us a legally binding contract will exist between you and the Company, but we reserve the right to refuse or amend any order up to the point of dispatch (for wines for delivery).  We will always contact you if we have to amend your order. In registering on the site or placing any order for alcohol you confirm that you are over 18. No contract shall exist between us and anyone under 18 who attempts to order or to take delivery of alcohol. If our drivers are in any doubt about this they are instructed not to leave the goods and the sale will be cancelled.

Availability

Red Wine Village does its utmost to ensure that all wines offered on the website are available, but availability is limited, particularly in the case of the rare wines, and all products are offered subject to availability.

Pricing

Prices are given per bottle or as otherwise listed. Our general lists display the standard bottle price, the unit prices are included shipping from France to Hong Kong except “En Primeur” Wines.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure availability of wines offered and correct pricing, mistakes can occur. If a product is accidentally offered at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse to supply at the incorrect price and will contact you to see if you wish to proceed with the sale at the correct price.
If we make a time-limited offer, any date given will be a guide only and we will not be obliged to fulfill orders up to that date. We reserve the right to change any price or offer without prior notice.

Delivery (International shipment and Local deliveries)

Any indication as to an order’s shipment, arrival or local delivery is an estimate only. Such estimates are given in good faith and we will use our reasonable endeavors to meet them. We do not accept liability for any failure to deliver within that time. “En Primeur” Wines will not be dispatched until the date on which such wines become available to us.
Many of our local deliveries are made by our vans and some areas are not served on a daily or even weekly basis. If you require your order urgently or on a specific day we will do our best to accommodate your request, but please understand that this may not be possible without recourse to a third-party courier, in which case additional charges may apply.
If there is not likely to be someone to receive and sign for the goods at the delivery address, please provide details of a safe place (or alternative address close by) where the goods may be left. If goods are left at your request and subsequently go missing we regret that neither we nor our couriers can accept responsibility.
Re-delivery will be charged if there is no one to receive and sign for the goods at the scheduled delivery date and time.
Delivery times cannot be specified, although if asked and given a telephone number we will try to call before to arrange. We regret we do not deliver over the weekend or on public holidays.
HK$100 will be charged for each Pre-Ordering order for local delivery within city area.  Extra charge for Tung Chung, Lantau & Outlying Islands.  Additional charge on long/distance carry or stairs involved.

Acceptance

It is the receiver's responsibility to inspect the condition of any goods received including glassware and accessories, at the time of delivery. Any claims for short delivery or breakage or any other defect or deficiency must be notified to us or any third-party courier immediately.  You will be deemed to have accepted the goods as satisfying as they delivered and in fulfillment of your order unless we hear from you within 3 days after collection or delivery, you will not be entitled to reject them in any reason and we may refuse your claim thereafter.

Quality Charter

Red Wine Village does its utmost to make sure that wines are delivered to you in the best possible condition.
We undertake the proper safekeeping and storage of wines in our possession and will act in good faith when purchasing and transporting the wine, but we will not be responsible for the state and condition of wines or whether the wine corresponds to the qualities which might be expected from its description.
The wine industry estimates that between 3 and 7 percent of all wines sealed with natural corks are ruined because of a natural fungus in corkwood that produces the chemical compound trichloroanisole, or TCA within the cork. TCA has a distinctive odor resembling moldy newspaper or damp basement. In almost all cases of “corked” wine, the aroma of the wine is reduced significantly, and a heavily tainted wine is completely undrinkable. Since some of our wine is rare and limited, we cannot replace wines that have been ruined because of cork taint. We do not accept returns of corked wine nor do we refund for corked wine.
There is always an element of risk in the purchase of the older fine wines as their condition is inevitably variable. The prices at which we offer these to you reflect this. Please consider this risk carefully before making your purchase.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to meet our obligations occasioned by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Red Wine Village may revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of disputes, the decision of Red Wine Village shall be final and conclusive.
